Oh where do I start. First off, Dr. Liz Roper is by far one of the most compassionate, attentive and detailed oriented acupuncturists I$0027ve been to and I$0027ve seen alot. I batteled infertility for over 7 years and went through several rounds of IVF to finally conceive. During our last round I switched acupuncturists and started seeing Liz. She was my support system during this time, my friend, always a listening ear and my acu-therapist. I used to call her my «everything» when my husband asked which appointment i was going to. During my treatment i noticed significant changes to my menstrual cycle. My pain had decreased dramatically and my cycles were more regular. My tension headaches were almost nonexistent and my feet weren$0027t cold like they have always been. My stress levels were also affected in a positive way which was helpful during fertility treatments. The pandemic hit right after we finally became pregnant so it$0027s been way too long since I$0027ve seen Liz (and Tito) and can$0027t wait to begin treatment again soon as we prepare for another embryo transfer.

I have been doing acupuncture for 2 months now to treat endometriosis and Im so glad I found The Medicine Tree, I used to have very painful periods and now I still have cramps but they are not as painful as before. I went to see Liz and Keri to help with my gut issues. After testing I found I had leaky gut and a gut imbalance. I started working with Keri on nutrition for a month then with Liz using Chinese herbs and after 4 weeks I was already feeling better. The herbs and diet change helped to not only help with my gut discomfort for also balanced my hormones. Within the first month I had a regular period (no cramps and 28 day cycle) after have irregular and heavy periods my entire life! Liz is amazing! She helped me with my second pregnancy, which was a very trying pregnancy. I was having severe nausea during my first trimester and she was able to correct that after my first session. During my third trimester, I had gestational hypertension causing severe migraines and a lot of stress. After two appointments my migraines were nearly gone and my stress levels dropped dramatically. I think the Medicine tree is a wonderful place. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist welcomes you in, makes you feel at home! The treatment rooms are warm and cozy. Liz is not only kind and compassionate but she is very accomplished in her knowledge of acupuncture. Your entire treatment will be a wonderful experience! The benefits of acupuncture are evident. I am a believer. I found acupuncture because of my diagnosis. I was treated after every chemotherapy treatment. That was a long time ago. I believe acupuncture helped me to heal and recover. Now, I am a 23 year cancer survivor and I still do acupuncture to keep my body healthy!
After losing my last acupuncturist a few years ago, I was relieved and happy to find The Medicine Tree! It is a nice place. I give it five stars!

I started taking my 13 year old daughter here about two months ago. Carrie and Liz have been great to work with. I brought my daughter here for stomach pains and for a skin rash. I happy to report that her stomach pains are less frequent. She was having them almost everyday. Dr. Roper is beyond wonderful. I cant thank her enough for treating me during my ivf cycles and through my pregnancy. She asks many questions throughout treatment and truly listens to provide an individualized treatment. She felt that I needed micronutrient testing and it turns out I was deficient in many vitamins.
