Steven is, IMO, one of THE best healers in Boulder. I$0027m a trail runner and I have had chronic plantar fasciitis for the past 3 years. I tried many different modalities including PTs, massage, etc, and Steven has been the only one who truly helped me. He also helped me with runner$0027s knee and got me back on the trail quickly. He is kind and compassionate and really knows his stuff. I think he$0027s also one of the best acupuncturists around, his technique is so gentle, and really helps with stress management.

In my many years of pain management, Ive never come across such a talented acupuncturist, healer and Chinese medicine practitioner as Steven. Both my wife and I visit Steven regularly and always leave our sessions feeling revived and energized.

Steven Rizzolo has literally changed my life. After suffering a lower back injury I developed a chronic pain near my SI joint. I visited conventional doctors, chiropractors, tried pain relievers, patches, anything… nothing helped. I spent several years living with this issue until I visited Boulder Sports Acupuncture. Steven is awesome. Not only is he great at his craft, he is also very friendly and cares about giving you the best personalized treatment in order to heal whatever ailment you may have. He was the first acupuncturist I had seen but after the first visit I knew what he was doing really helped me so I saw him numerous times. The only reason I stopped going to him is because I moved to the east coast! I will be hard pressed to find another person like him.

I$0027ve been going to Boulder Sports Acupuncture for years. I initially began treatment for stress and anxiety and felt the results immediately. I leave Steven$0027s table feeling like jello and drooling a lot of the time and I love it. In addition to stress relief, I have seen Steven for a number of sports injuries.
Being an avid adventurist, I hurt myself quite a bit. Over the past few months, I have been going to see a chiropractor for a neck injury which occurred about 4 months ago. In hindsight, I should have gone to Steven earlier. After 2 months of chiropractic care I had some relief but not enough. The pain was so bad that I was starting to miss days of work. I finally went in to see Steven and after just one treatment the pain was gone. Steven has an amazing technique. He listens and he creates a program specifically tailored to the individual. More than any other health care provider I have seen, he is not only technically superb at his practice, but he has an intuition and healing presence that allows him to treat more effectively. The pain did come back, but it took 4 days. With continued treatment I now have the confidence that I will not live with this pain forever. Steven identified the root of the problem and created a program that has given me the confidence that my quality of life will improve and also one that I can afford along with my chiropractic care. I have recommended Steven to numerous friends and family. Steven is a rare healer and a truly amazing person.

Im a pro rock climber and I came to Steven for the first time a couple of years ago, with double sided elbow tendinitis on both arms. Within the first session with Steven 75% of the pain was gone, after three sessions I was pain free. I was able to follow my training program as normal, and I climbed trough my whole upcoming season in the Red River Gorge without the pain coming back. Now I go back to Steven every time something small shows up, and for maintenance for my body to handle the training load without getting injured. I recommend him to everyone I can!

I have been going to see Steven Rizzolo for over a year now for treatment of various aches and injuries. As an avid climber, I have had Steven treat all sorts of ailments including a wrist injury, whiplash, knee pain, and general tightness in my back and shoulders from climbing. I$0027ve gone to him for acupuncture, e-stim, cupping, and shockwave therapy and the combination of treatments has been really successful for me. Steven is the best!
